ABOUT US

Vehicles have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember - you could say oil runs through my veins.

I pretty much grew up in a family-run automotive workshop and went on to work there for over a decade. My father, a gifted technician, taught me everything I know. He is an incredibly talented mechanic who would put his hand to anything: no job too big, no task too small.

I later moved from Ramarama to Nelson with the wifey, and we now have two gorgeous boys who are both car lovers in their own right.

I’ve held numerous roles specialising in engine and transmission reconditioning, and later went on to own and operate a busy city retail workshop.

Wanting to interact with people on a more down-to-earth level, I started Versatile Automotive in late 2024 to do more of what I love; spending more time with my family, as well as meeting new and interesting people. Being fully mobile, having my workshop on wheels and problem-solving on the go is perhaps the part I enjoy the most.

Armed with a truckload of hands-on experience, I’ve yet to find a project I can’t handle. Trust in me, your handy mobile mechanic, to get the job done right.
